Free Space Jams | Open Mic Patio Event

All are welcome

About the Event

Free Space Jams is an interactive open mic celebration rooted in the tradition of community-centered art and cultural expression. Featuring live music, poetry, spoken word, and visual art, creating a collaborative space where artists and community members come together to share stories and celebrate creativity.

Our July event was a beautiful success, bringing together artists, performers, and community members who filled the patio with joy, music, and authentic connection. Now we’re back for our August celebration and we hope to see you here expressing yourself, having fun, and creating freely.

Presented by Taller Boricua and La’FroJaz in collaboration with the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and The Bronx Beer Hall, our Open Mic events honor the legacy of cultural spaces that have sustained artistic voices and creative communities, welcoming emerging and established artists alike to participate, be heard, and create freely.

All are welcome.
