1969 – 2010 Time-line

A Place Between the Natural and the Constructed

This Taller Timeline was created by Yasmin Ramirez, Ph.D former curator at Taller Boricua and El Museo del Barrio. I wish to acknowledge the importance of Diogenes Ballester who created the first taller timeline dating from 1969 to 1990.

“The collection of paintings and drawings celebrate my unexplainable love of New York City water towers and rooftops. The selected works of art acknowledge the coming of age of roof structures and our increasing familiarity and acceptance of them as part of our urban landscape”.
